Vito Trevino has a passion for the fashion industry which has energized his career from the start. Vito began in fashion (women’s & men's apparel, accessories, and personal appearance consulting) more than a decade ago by studying Fine and Performing Arts at Lansing Community College. While working in the expressive arts he learned color theory and experimented with texture which has helped to broaden the visual impact and aesthetics appeal of his pieces. Vito later studied cosmetology at the Douglas J/Aveda Institute. Here he honed his skills in hair styling, cutting and color, but perhaps more importantly learned the importance of cultivating relationships with clients. Vito has worked on several fashion show boards and has collaborated on projects with other stylists and make-up artists across the country.
Vito’s professional career has been spent in designing fashion concepts. He uses his background in theatrical design to influence his street wear clothing and bag designs. Vito’s wide-range of interests and talents combined with extensive fashion retail merchandising experience allow him to better serve, understand, and assist individual clients in fulfilling their needs.
Vito lives fashion in his every day life. He has a keen sense for identifying up-and-coming trends yet appeals to a larger audience by using classic elements to finish his pieces. His love of art is what adds the finishing touches to his designs which distinguish his collections from the rest.
